Emergency Plumbing questions

Available across:

What should I do before the plumber arrives?

Turn off the main stop valve. In most landed houses it sits near the water meter at the front gate; in condos it is usually inside the unit near the kitchen or utility area. Switch off the water heater at the wall if water is near it.

Do you charge more at night?

Yes, an after-hours call-out fee applies between 10pm and 8am and on public holidays. We tell you the amount on the phone before we dispatch, so there are no surprises.
